On to Napier
Annita and I took Roberts car and made our way to Napier where we met up with Annita’s friend Lou. It was foggy on the way there, but the sun came out just before we made it there. Napier had been almost completely destroyed during an earthquake in the 1920’s. The whole city had been rebuilt in the art deco style and is considered to be the art deco capital of the world.
We walked along the beach, went through the aquarium, and through the park. We stopped and saw Pania, who had been returned after having been stolen. We also made our way up to Bluff Hill and looked out over the harbor.
